Living in Our Bodies
Many of us are living such busy and stressful lives, that we have distanced ourselves from our bodies, but we can learn to live in our bodies again.
When we are practicing heart-centred healing, we learn that much of our physical pain are manifestations of physical, emotional, mental, energetic, spiritual holding patterns.
These are areas that we have tightened over and over in painful situations as a way to protect ourselves from fully seeing with our hearts. It is like a protective armour.
As we become conscious of the pain, we have held, we may notice feelings, memories or stories connected to each area of tension.
Too often we have met our pain and disease, whether it is a headache or a grave illness, by hating it.
As a healer and teacher, I help you to direct a compassionate and loving attention to touch the most innermost part of your wounds – then healing occurs.
As Oscar Wilde put it, “It’s not the perfect but the imperfect that is need of our love.
Without mindfully attending to our bodies, we may become so busy in our daily lives that we lose touch with a sense of appropriate diet, movement and physical enjoyment.
When we honour our body with our attention, we begin to reclaim our feelings, our intuition, our life.
